Godsmack is leading the way on this, The Rise of Rock World Tour. The band has some excuses to hit the road, one of them being the 25th anniversary of Awaken. They're releasing a 25th anniversary version of that album with new tracks. All that plus, Stone Temple Pilots & Dorothy are making a stop inside the Maine Savings Amphitheater on Friday, July 3rd.
Stone Temple Pilots have their own set of fans and music that will likely make their way out to the amp as well. That's not your average opening act. Dorothy also bring an interesting set to this event. The long-haired bands and heavy guitar lines are going to be a constant from the moment they open the doors here at the Maine Savings Amphitheater. If you want in on this party, there's only one thing left for you to do, and that is to click the "Buy Tickets" link here soon.
They couldn't have found a better name for this tour. Are you one of those people who miss heavy guitar lines at live events? These days, you could argue a lot of big "shows" lip-sing and play a track to dance the night away. That is not what you're getting from Godsmack or any of the performers who will be taking the stage. It's time to dust off those black t-shirts that you used to head out to events back in the day! If you've got some boots to go with that outfit, then we don't need to tell you what to do with those either. It's going to be an epic night here at the Maine Savings Amphitheater.
This is an anniversary tour after all. It's been 25 years plus some since "Awake" Godsmack's flagship album hit the airwaves. To a degree, that's the main reason why they've hit the road. In fact, these days, a lot of these metal bands are only getting a chance to hit up high-profile venues when they're celebrating something. That's an issue for another day, but Godsmack also brings some new music into the fold. "Sweat Leaf" is their latest release that you're going to want to be on top of.
There might be a rush for some of the spots toward the front of the theater. That demand could hike up the prices even if you're able to find good deals in other parts of the Maine Savings Amphitheater. One of the things that you might want to think about is finding a comfortable spot. Maybe shaking your head the whole day right next to the stage just isn't for you anymore. In that case, those seats right in the middle with awesome views of everything that's going on could be exactly where you need to be!
Spots for this rock fest are starting at only around $50. That's a great deal to see this incredible lineup. All you have to do to guarantee your seats is to click the "Buy Tickets" link now.
