“We always look forward to being with our buddies in Styx,” Foreigner's lead vocalist, Kelly Hansen, spoke with UCR. “We’ve done so many things with them. They’re absolute professionals, which is what you want - you want to be on the road with someone you can count on.”
Let the air be saturated with the raw power of eighties rock! Foreigner is a British-American rock band initially formed in the late seventies. Famed for releasing more than sixty albums to date, the group also earned the prestigious Juno Award for International Single of the Year for their song "I Want to Know What Love Is." Progressive rockers Styx, on the other hand, is popular for releasing three consecutive multi-platinum albums, including The Grand Illusion (1977), Pieces of Eight (1978), and Cornerstone (1979).
If you believed the star power ended with two legends, think twice! We've got an additional icon in the mix to heat up the event! Featured guest John Waite is a fellow British solo artist who skyrocketed to fame with his 1984 hit single "Missing You." His music is known for its power ballads and arena rock, which sometimes includes new wave-styled power pop.
